Juan Carlos Mostaza is a Spanish producer, director and screenwriter with a PhD in Audiovisual Communication. His studies as an engineer opened his way into the world of computer-generated graphics and VFX, which led him to the world of advertising production. His true passion is storytelling and as a director and screenwriter he has won over 100 major international awards.

His main specialty is thriller and his style is influenced by the films of Steven Spielberg and David Fincher. He has experience as a director of both animated and live-action films, as he believes that the important thing is the story, regardless of the tool used to tell it. Animation is not a genre, it is a medium.

He brings to his live-action shoots the advantage of being a VFX expert, providing solutions and knowing the best way to shoot complex scenes with special effects.
